Privacy Policy of Dropert

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information is collected when you use the Game "Dropert", how that information is used, who it is shared with and what options you have as a user or parent. Your information won't be collected unless requested first.

I (Jonas Sundberg) won't personally store or collect your data, I use third parties to do that.

Third parties

Information about your gameplay such as your highscore and how much progress you have made is always stored on your device. When you first start the game you will be asked if you want to use Game Center or Google Play Services (depending on your platform) features such as Leaderboards and Achievements (these features are by default disabled). This data is submitted directly from your device and stored on Apple's or Google's servers, your Game Center or Google Play screen name and highscore will be visible to other players from the Leaderboard if you choose to use Game Center or Google Play features. You can enable or disable Game Center or Google Play features at anytime from the settings menu in the game. If you disable Game Center or Google Play features you won't be able to view the leaderboards or submit your score and achievements will be disabled.

Childrens Privacy Protection Act Compliance

I do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. When a user start the game for the first time they are asked to select their age, any functionality that would submit their Game Center or Google Play screen name and high score to Leaderboards is automatically disabled and all outgoing links is hidden (such as link to the App Store page and other links in the credits menu), otherwise the game will remain perfectly playable. The age entered is not shared, it is only stored locally.

If your child entered an incorrect age and their data have been shared anyway, contact me at support@dropert.com and I will make sure their information is removed. Please remove local data for the game through your phone's settings menu and enter their correct age again after that.

Users between ages 13 and 18

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, please have your parent or guardian read this Policy and get their permission before you allow data to be shared in the Game. Never tell anyone online anything private about yourself or your family, including your phone number and address, unless your parent or guardian has approved.

Cookies

The Website itself does not collect any cookies, but the embeded Soundcloud component do. You can read about Soundcloud's cookie policy at: https://soundcloud.com/pages/cookies

Removing your data

If you have had your data collected (submitted to the Leaderboard) or you suspect it's been collected in any other way, please contact me to help you have it removed or resolve the issue.

Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy is effective as of December 13, 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page (www.dropert.com/privacy-policy/). I reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time and it's your own responsibility to stay up to date with it.
