Computers are still babies

One of my secret dreams is to start a computer company that make very personal types of computers. I think these colorful mechanical keyboards are a good start but things could be better.

For being such expensive things they are really bland and boring. Macbooks are the only laptops I know that look good but they just look expensive and fancy and they value weird things.

I donโ€™t need a thinner laptop, I can excuse it being slightly bulkier if it feels more durable and like I can stick to it in the long run by replacing parts when needed. If it was easy to replace buttons and covers on it that would be a lot of fun too.

I like to compare computers (and phones) to old times when people had a clock in their pocket with a picture of a loved one and they cared for it and got it repaired and handed it down. I wish we could be a bit more sentimental about technology too.

I donโ€™t think we need to have more powerful computers we just need to use them better, I hope we will reach a peak where they wonโ€™t or donโ€™t need to be stronger so companies start messing more with the formula and refining the visuals and the experience more instead.
